My choices in Oporto


Has you know i'm portuguese and i live in Oporto.
I'm going to name some of my favourite places to go here..

To have a nice dinner:
D'oliva-nice italian restaurant.
Sessenta Setenta-contemporary food restaurant.
Foz Velha-mixes the traditional portuguese food with a modern side.
Buhle-makes portuguese traditional and fusions with European and Asian foods.
Gòshó-based in fusion cuisine and Japanese tapas.
Zen House-based only on japanese food.
Artemisia-an aromatic cuisine based on organic ingredients, healthy and full of flavor.
Shis-they mix portuguese and mediterranean food with japanese influences.
Cafeína-they have an exquisite cuisine, at international level, with French and Italian influence.
Grappa-italian restaurant based on the more traditional Mediterranean flavors.

To have a good time after dinner:
Twin's Baixa- situated in the hippiest neighborhood in the city a wonderful option to go take some great cocktails, so NY style. You can also go to the Twin's Foz.
Galerias de Paris-nice unique restaurant-bar counts with a dj and is situated in the hippest place in town’s nightlife.
Buhle Bar-a place where you can chill and have a glass of wine.
Armazém Do Chá-called "Tea Warehouse" counts with a cosmopolitan atmosphere you can go to dance or watch a live concert.
Triplex-combo bar-restaurant-terrace that enjoys of a Dj, putting music of cosmopolitan rhythms in a colorful atmosphere.
Pitch Club-bar’s decor inspired by the 60s and alternative sounds.
Marrakesh-nice lounge bar with Morrocan influences.
To go shopping:
I must say i love shopping centers but sometimes it's better when you have outdoor shops.
Wrong Weather-place to men who have an irreverent and fashionable style.
Por Vocação-contemporary men’s fashion,excellent selection of some of the best international labels such as Paul Smith, Comme des Garçons, Martin Margiela, Neil Barrett, Raf Simons.
Fashion Clinic-top concept store,with a carefull selection of clothing such as Prada, Etro, Missoni, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Jil Sander, DKNY, Dsquared ou Marnique.
Clip-a mostly young store sells brands such as Diesel,Pepe Jeans,Levi's.
Sneakers Delight-a store where you can find the most unique sneakers.
66 Avenida Brasil-cosmopolitan unique spot where we can find haute couture clothing and top french perfumes, CD’s and books of art and architecture, gourmet products and also a coffee-shop.
ID-Clothes-find clothing, shoes and accessories from renowned international brands such as Colcci, Friis & Company, Muchacha, Les Petites, Religion.
Clube Chocolate-concept store with a cool-chic style, focused on women’s fashion, which sells clothing and accessories mainly from Brazilian Designers.
Diesel Store- strong personality always being fresh and creative, irreverent and antiestablishment, having a vintage and not arrogant look, and that represents an urban and alternative lifestyle.
If you come to Oporto you should go as well to the Al Forno Caffé, Serralves Museum and make a trip by boat on the Douro river and try Padaria Ribeiro a very good bakery.
Those are my choices among others obviously, enjoy!
